You & McCuskey is the studio for art direction and design founded by me, Rowan McCuskey. In enthusiastic cooperation with clients I bring new life to brands by the means of corporate branding, advertising campaigns, communication-, graphic-, exhibition- and interaction design.
To implement concepts I work together with a team of creative and business minded professionals. Over the past eight years I have happily worked throughout Europe, Japan, northern Africa and the United States for brands such as Tatras, Nike Europe, Cloud 9 Cases, Philips, TAG, Concrete image store, Alejandro Jr., Transnatural, Cinetoko, Craftscurator, Codarts Academy.
Yes, I also speak Dutch and occasionaly do freelance and in-house projects. My main interest is to meet inspiring people and cultures to co-create strategic design concepts.

I have been a columnist for Dutch design magazine Items, written for The One Weekend Book Series and provided texts for campaigns and advertising.
I have given classes and lectures at ESAV in Marrakech, Academy of Art University in San Francisco, TAG in The Hague, WdK Academy in Rotterdam, Chi conference in Leiden and Zefir7 in The Hague.
I am currently busy finishing a new website for the annual Transnatural festivals and have begun designing communication materials for the 2012 edition at NEMO Amsterdam.
After designing the exhibition 'On Geometry and Speculation' as part of the Marrakech Biennale I will soon start designing for a new exhibition by Hicham Khalidi, entitled 'Of Other Spaces', to take place throughout Marocco in the autumn of 2012.
The exhibition 'Smart As Matter' is still running at Transnatural's Workspace in Amsterdam. It introduces art and design based on materials with unusual and innovative qualities. I designed all printed material.
